The SGACP partners with Speakers for Schools
Updated: Jun 7
The SGACP is delighted to announce they have partnered with Speakers for Schools whose aim is to provide all young people, regardless of background and circumstances, with access to the same prestigious networks available to the top fee-paying schools in the UK.
Dr Smith, Chairman of the SGACP Board of Trustees said: “It is extremely important that the SGACP reaches out to all schools in the UK, independent and state, so that as many young people as possible in the age groups we seek to interest and assist in the fields of engineering generally, and aviation, aeronautics and astronautics specifically, are able to meet and question us face-to-face as well as receive our digital communications. As an example, during 2022 we shall be presenting to between 70 – 90 schools and speaking with at least 2,500 pupils between the ages of 15 – 17+. In addition, our digital outreach exceeded 120,000 during the first three months of this year, and could reach 500,000 by end 2022.”
